Jim Clark
so i was talking to Tommy Gun the other day and he said we should start a blog so we won't lose our ideas forever and that we can update you and ourselves often and i found it to be something we must do as someone who wrote far too many stories in facebook that are probably lost forever in the vacuum created somewhere in the black holes of the virtual worlds , something an Internet archaeologist will maybe find in 1000 years from now and this is big shame - reminds me something the Neil young once said about Heroin:" somewhere in this world , in space there are millions of great ideas that got lost due to Heroin " - so we got the Blog now to prevent the horrible results of cyber-drugs A.K.A Facebook and whatever .
tomorrow we will meet to some further experiments in sounds , we got some new hardware which i am not quite sure if i should modify or not , i got the great temptation of doing it but i also fear the result of short circuiting it , from my past experience most cases wee major success but in some cases the machine died and never came back again , so i still think - if only i had a piece which was a bit cheaper and much easier to spare then with no doubt i would already modify it .
years ago someone gave me one of these cheap Yamaha PSR small organs , these things you never even care about , he said i does not work , he said he wanted me to try and fix it so i took a look in i and found out it was only the power supply he did not even bother connecting , the organ worked perfect - go figure it out ...
i could not resist the temptation and the organ was stripped naked and bare bones on my carpets minutes after , working out some circuits , shortcutting chips , etc...
suddenly it all sounded like a machine from hell , it had beats becoming symphony of chaos and sounds with overdrive and distortion all over , it was magnificent , my brother took it and sampled the sounds and then sequenced them and made a piece that was not far from what you would assume AUTECHRE would have done , i put the machine back into original state and gave it fine an normal to it's owner not before we gave him a cd with a track made only of the sounds his crap organ created , he could not believe it but it was plain truth , it sounded like a multi proposed synth more than just a PSR - that just show how much i am really struggling with my passion of doing the same to our equipment , i will try maybe to check the blue prints , it will give me some safety ropes there , i might need them this time - or maybe i will let my kitten made the decision for me , if Paul the octopus can so why won't she ? , she knows how NOT to chase 2 dimensional electronic mice i illustrate on the computer table , she might also come with a good answer to this one but i would stop now talking about the technicalities of our sounds although i know it does create interest , i was always fascinated by people like Jim Clark , race driving legend that was hardly speaking about his fits , how can he do it ? , how does he take a corner the way he does , how does he know where to accelerate and when to brake ? it's an art form that he took to amazing levels but he hardly talked about the way it all happen , the man uses and defies the laws of classical physics with his instincts , what can be greater than that ? a genius who discovers how to do a great thing or a fool who does a great thing not even knowing how he does it - next time we will try not to think at all , not to relate and only react , we do it anyway but we need to do it more .

Tha art of Panishment :
songwriting is not dead but it needed to be kicked around severally , in our days and times even the best might look a bit dated so what can you say of people who put their faith only in Dylan 50 years ago and Jagger of 5 million light years before ...
so you need to break the formula in a way that will produce something you can be happy with , not talking about the latest fashions , they mostly sound more dated than the relics i mentioned four lines before , no disrespect but these people were true punks back in their days but anyone who goes in that same way but not trying to slide away even slightly of the road marks is doomed to sound like nothing but bad , poor version of whatever i said eight lines ago if i am not wrong .
songwriting can sit in a place where it's half instinct and half intellect but whatever it is and how it works has to do with courage and what the fuck are we - musicians ...
we are not fighting the second world war in a sky full of metal wasps with fire in their mouths and bombs in their bellies - still you find such a lack of bravery .
is it the music industry ?
don't tell me that joke , no one gives a shit about them today anyway , they as close to a joke more then ever , the individual got all the power in the world in his or her hands in 2010 , you can record , produce , erase , destroy , lock yourself in the toilet forever with just a lap top and you'll have enough entertainment for 20 life times , this is why Panish is not going to play the game to the hands of the relics and dinosaurs , it's not only pathetic to do so but it's sad and wrong and it's against the laws of nature , almost as upsetting as the fact that Sartre started the fashion of old fat farts fuckin their young beautiful college students just because they teach philosophy .
the times allow almost anything but a life of eternity so all should take control and reverse back - onto the right place the laws of jungle .

I was writing it all somewhere else and now i need to do it again and i am not gonna copy a thing because the same as Panish sessions , you might play the same tune - sure , but you we try before to look at the other sides of the arguments , what is the point to travel the globe knowing it's shape so well when you can't be James Cook and still believe you are a true seeker ?
not saying , sure , that travling is not good as a travel but as we all know the world is round now it's time to find some new shapes and forms and structure , not everytime you look you find but if you open your eyes and you DO look you might see some spots in place that look just like the best thing Jackson Pollock never created and you got a chance at least to do something .
so we did Panish Lucky seven but that's an old news , just got message from the owner , we will do it again this Saturday 3pm at stoke Newington (or Stokey as someone said to me and i can't already see Vered laughing - i am laughing too , that's cool !)
we will be coming there with some new weapons of musical terror and that show will be faster , stronger and better , this is what it should be - if a show goes back and not trusthing forward that means something is wrong , there will be those who will think that by saying that we mean just plain test of aggresion , while aggresion is indeed something we love and we al need the point is different and in any case those who understand can relate and mostly can so there is nothing to explain .
in between that we will Panish also , no place and time is known yet but we will find the occasion .
good times we had and Rummy can testify with his mobile phone camera and his papartzi skills , the PREGNANT COW GALLERY in out mates bedroom was a sensation , this is where we put together - Closet the you can go out of , LADDER to nowhere special , I SLEEP against gravity , BED SPACE CRAFT WARP SPEED - ACTION ! , Brain salad surgery , etc ...
instant art in 10 minutes using mostly shoes and gaffer tape , this is what it should be about and this is the way we like it , you don't have artistry then you are like a tiger with no teeth - bite only air and dreams about fortune - fuck that , we don't care .
"Led zapplun will be guesting Jason donovan tonight" is our next track so pay attention and remember what Tony Montana said to Frank Lopez when the later compalined his chick spends half of her life dressing and the other half undressing :"you have to catch her in the middle , when she does not see .." BINGO
